Optimizing Neural Networks with Autograd for Handwritten Digit Recognition
Addressing the challenge of handwritten digit recognition, this investigation describes the end-to-end development of a neural network using a custom AutoGrad engine. Starting with a simple two-layer network and progressing through architectural enhancements and hyperparameter tuning, the study achieves a high validation accuracy on the MNIST dataset.
